These guys are great! They always take the time to explain the problem and repair in an easily understandable matter. They are even professional enough to keep a straight face when I brought my Jeep in with a stripped oil plug I had "fixed" with duct tape.


It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but I trust Micah Garber. I thought my tires needed replaced, but he told me I had about 4 months left on them at my current use. I know if he tells me something needs replaced, it does. This is the only place I'll take my car.


Very helpful and honest. They are always very quick to get my truck finished. I've used this shop about 5 times. Each time, they were knowledgeable and courteous. I even recommended them to my sister-in-law for an engine swap in her Jeep. They did a fantastic job on it. I'd highly recommend them.

My son brought his car in today for potential brake problems. They looked at it right away. Called my husband with their diagnosis. They said nothing wrong with brakes and the sound he may be hearing is the power steering pump when he turns the steering wheel too far. All is good with the car. NO CHARGE! They called my husband and explained it all to him as we requested. My son is a student at KU and we instructed him to have them call Dad before any repairs were done. Very impressed with this business.

After having a horrible experience with a dealership in Lawrence, I took my car to Garber for a second opinion. They were thorough and helpful. After a number of tests, they gave me a significantly lower rate for the repairs I actually needed, and also told me that many of the repairs the dealership said I needed weren't actually necessary. I had them do the needed repairs and haven't had a problem with the car since.
